When I imagine the future, I’m anxious. Anxious for the unknown calls that threaten me, anxious for the identities that can be stolen and anxious for the unsafe future that ensues.

All I see when I login to my Instagram is hate. Online trolls and haters ruining the sanctity of a place once considered joyful and care-free. In fear of receiving hate, I’ve stopped commenting or posting. The hate I get is far more than I can take. They hate they give me, is far more than I should take.

‘Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” But that isn’t the case is it? In a land that’s not far, far away, words do hurt. They sting. They penetrate our thoughts until we’ve been looped so far down the rabbit hole, it’s too much work to unravel yourself from the web of lies you’ve spun.

Let us help you!

Aszist is an organization by teens, for teens. We want to tackle Cyber-bullying and mental abuse. We want to help you. Seeing hate on the internet and in real life, motivated us to work to eradicate something that has plagued us. Although we might not offer the best advice, we’re here to listen. Sometimes its easier to talk to you own peer group rather than an adult who thinks “bullying is just a phase of life.”
